Story
Breast cancer has been a constant in my family for many years. It runs through the maternal side and has closely impacted us, claiming the life of my aunt and doing its best to take my mothers as well (thankfully she has been clear for many years now).
For the last few years I have chosen to recognise their, and many other womens, battle against breast cancer by foregoing my usual colours and donning the Pink at this specific event. Anything pink or sparkly is a bit of a taboo at British Eventing, so we are really making a statement each year. This year, I would like nothing more than to make it mean something more substantial and to raise a significant amount of money to help others succeed in their own battles.
