Story
Hello,
We just wanted to say a massive thank-you to all who sponsored and supported us on our Trans Pennine Trail cycle ride raising money for the Sarcoma UK charity.
After initially hoping to raise around £500 we were forced to continually revise our target upwards. We ultimately raised just over £3000 - a truly staggering figure and we are both blown away by your amazing generosity.
I have uploaded a couple of photos to prove we did it.
Once again many thanks
(Big) Dave and PaulSuper-fit duo,

Dave Barrow and Paul Bennett were hoping to raise an eye-watering £2500 for the Sarcoma Charity in memory of our mate Dave Marsden, who sadly passed away on March 18th after a long battle against cancer.
We're cycling the Trans Pennine Trail (http://www.transpenninetrail.org.uk/) from Southport in the West to Hornsea in the East through some of the most spectacular and challenging terrain in England. Poigniantly, it passes within a few miles of where Dave lived in Kirkburton. It's 220 miles in all, with plenty of steep hill climbs thrown in.
We've taken a pledge to ride this route and raise as much money as we can. Sarcoma is a particularly agressive form of cancer that develop in the muscle, bone, nerves, cartilage, tendons, blood vessels and the fatty and fibrous tissues. There are around 3,800 new cases of sarcoma diagnosed each year in the UK and there are 12,000 people living with sarcoma in the UK
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.
Please dig deep, donate now and help us reach our target.
