Story
I was diagnosed in 2010 with a benign meningioma that was the size of a grapefruit. I was informed that they would never be able to fully remove it and it could grow back. In 2016 it done just that and I was operated on again in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. This followed with a round of Radiotherapy in The Beatson. In April 2022 after waking every morning for a couple of weeks feeling hungover I contacted my consultant. He arranged and urgent MRI and I was admitted in August for another brain operation. Followed by a strong 1 off does of stereotactic radiotheraphy. I can't thank the medical staff enough for all the great care I have been given over the years.I am truly grateful to still be here and I am looking forward to raising money to help in Brain Tumour Research.
