Story
Hi, thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I decided to embark on this challenge back in May and now have just over two weeks to raise £1200 for Cornwall Hospice Care. I would really appreciate your help. I have been training as much as I can which is proving to be tricky with long shifts and two small children! I will be riding just short of 70 miles a day for the three days! Training is going well, no injuries so far but I am slightly nervous about the challenge!
This is a charity close to my heart as my Uncle Terry received fantastic nursing care from the team at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice. Terry was just 59 when he died from metastatic bowel cancer. Unfortunately he never got the chance to meet my daughters, so I hope to do him proud and cycle the 200 miles in three days in memory of him.
So, if you would be so kind, please stick your hand down the back of the sofa, empty out the tumble dryer and have a rummage around the pockets of your old jeans. Anything you find would be gratefully received – not just by me, but by my charity.
Thanks once again. Lisa x x
