On Sunday 30 April, I'll be cycling over 100km for #TeamNorthCare in the Tour de Manc 

I'm a novice cyclist who cycles for fun and fitness but also likes a challege. Raising money for the Northcare charity seemed to be the perfect excuse/nudge to do the Tour de Manc.

Supporting the northcare charity helps us raise money for the ICU garden we are creating. As someone who has worked in ICU for 20 years I know how valuable it can be for patients to be able to go outside, it can even be beneficial to their recovery. The garden will enable our patients to have an accessible and safe space to enjoy and even somewhere their pets can visit.

Your donation will help us to go above and beyond the scope of the NHS and provide vital funds for our ICU garden.
