Story
A few families and children from Camulos Academy are raising emergency funds for Save the Children UK’s Ukraine appeal. Every penny we raise will go towards helping a child in need.
Children taking part in the walk so far are:
Harrison, Lexie, Max, Jack, Kyle, Lily, Henry, Finley, Amelie, Luca, Ben, Suryaa, Adam, Mason, Scarlett, Alexia, Rithvik, Sapphire, Luca, Ava and Holly. We’re also being joined by parents, staff members from the school and families!
We are doing a 5km sponsored walk, which will begin at Camulos Academy on Sunday 6th March at 10am and will take around an hour to complete. If you’d like to join us, please let me know - the more, the merrier! If you can’t make the date or time, you can still do the route at a day and time that suits you and if you like you can use this Justgiving page to collect sponsorship.
Save the Children are supporting the most vulnerable children and families through the conflict by:
- Distributing essential humanitarian aid to children and their families
- Delivering winter and hygiene kits
- Providing cash grants to families so they can meet basic needs like food, rent and medicines
- Providing access to safe, inclusive, quality education
- Working to help children overcome the mental and psychological impacts of conflict
Please donate whatever you can afford. Every penny counts!
