I'm taking part in this tough challenge to support Blind Veterans UK in their great work helping armed forces veterans rebuild their lives after sightloss. 

My mum signed up for this endurance walk as a positive target to work towards in increasing her fitness after several months out of action following major surgery to her feet. So, I thought I'd accompany her for the journey.
