The West Highland Way is a 96 mile long footpath in Scotland which leads you through different types of tough terrain. It goes from lowland moors, woodland and rolling hills to high mountainous regions in the Scottish Highlands. It is usually done within seven or eight days but I will be doing it within five. This means, on average, I will be walking 20 miles a day. I have chosen to do this to raise funds for the Ben Kinsella Trust in memory of Mark Shaw..... This may not put an end 2 knife crime in the uk but education young children will hopefully help save lives in the future.

The Ben Kinsella Trust promotes knife-crime awareness – many people believe that knife crime is not their problem and will never affect them but this is not the case. They also focus on educating children of all ages the consequences of knife crime and the devastating effect it has on the families of the victims. They hope that one day they will be able to build youth centres to guide and support the young people of the UK. One of the trusts biggest achievements to date was in March 2010 when they campaigned for the minimum sentence for knife related murder to be increased from 15 years to a 25 year start point. This law is known as 'Bens Law'.

With your kind donations who knows what else The Ben Kinsella Trust will achieve. I would like to thank everyone for any donations I recieve to matter how big or small they may be.
