We are a voluntary housing charity to provide accommodation for homeless women
Story
Dear Friends,
As a walking tour guide here in Dublin I have befriended people who live on our streets. They each have shared their story with me and when they don't see me for a while they wonder how am I doing? Where am I? And I feel the same about them.
Handing them a tenner when it is -4 C really doesn't make that much needed difference, so I am taking part in the women's mini-marathon on June 1st to raise some money for the amazing charity Daisyhouse.
Daisyhouse not only gets people off the streets but actually supports their lives to move forward into education and self development so that they break that loop of never moving on and falling back into hostels. It's one of the few that get so involved for the individual and make that really amazing difference and has helped many that you would never have guessed - with a second chance.
We are all human. Many of us are at risk of becoming homeless ourselves someday. Let's work together to help those that are homeless today. Everyone deserves a warm clean bed, a cup of hot tea in the morning and a bathroom. Wouldn't you agree?
Please donate what you can.
Much love to you all,
Lisa xxx

Women become homeless for many reasons including addiction, domestic violence, abuse, ill health... When this happens, they need a ‘space’ where they can recover from the trauma of their experience, feel safe and secure and, in time, move forward in their lives. Daisyhouse provides such a space.
