Story
Our cousin & incredible friend Nancy Payman was first diagnosed with FSGS Nephrotic Syndrome when she was just 15 months old. It is a life threatening disease where the immune system attacks the kidneys causing permanent damage. Sadly, a transplant is not a cure for this disease because the immune system ends up attacking the kidneys.
Luckily for Nancy, she was very responsive to an unusual drug that saved her life. Not everyone with this disease is so lucky. Nancy has organised this event, Walking for Kidneys, to raise much needed funds for kidney research at UCL because we need a cure for Kidney Autoimmune Disease.
We will be taking part in a 6 mile / 10km charity walk on 30th September in Richmond Park. Please join us in helping to find a cure. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated.
