I was diagnosed with Papillary thyroid cancer that had spread to my neck nodes in 2019. Following surgery I had complications and required the help and expertise of the oncology physiotherapy team based at Kings Mill Hospital. 

This team of professionals are amazing, they provide emotional and practical support to patients and families at a difficult time in a  persons cancer journey. They care for patients with all types of  cancer being involved with care, management and the rehabilitation of each individual. They helped me get to where I am today, and I know I am not the only one.

I, along with friends want to give something back to this amazing team, and hope others feel the same.
