Story
My fantastic Mum and I are running the Great South Run for 'Steps' a wonderful charity which provides information and support for anyone affected by hip dysplasia and other lower limb deficiencies.
Robyn was born in February 2009 with a dislocated right hip requiring her to be fitted in a harness for 15 weeks from when she was 7 weeks old. Due to the excellent care she received and it being picked up early she has progressed well and will hopefully continue this way. 'Fingers crossed' Robyn will not have problems as she develops and later in life.
Steps provided me with invaluable information and advise and deserve more recognition for the campaigning they do to improve standards of care for babies born with the same condition as Robyn, which is why I'm asking you to sponsor us for something we will find a huge challenge and have trained for since January.
Thankyou Lisa and Bridget (Robyn's Nanny)xxxx
