Story

Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is the only UK charity that supports those diagnosed with retinoblastoma (Rb), and we need your help! Whether you choose to walk, cycle, run or skate – every penny you raise will help anyone affected by Rb in the UK. So, lace up your trainers and take on the challenge of completing 50km, representing approximately 50 children a year who are diagnosed with this rare form of children’s eye cancer. The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) is the UK's only charity dedicated to helping people affected by retinoblastoma (Rb), a rare form of eye cancer that affects babies and young children. We: Provide support and information to families and individuals. Fund research into the prevention and treatment of retinoblastoma. Raise awareness among health professionals and the public. Influence policy to improve services for patients.CHECT offers lifelong support to every family in the UK affected by.

This charity is close to my heart because of a little cheeky lady that I know who was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma when she was very young and has coped with so much at such a young age and has come through the other side.

Olivia, you are such a brave and courageous little lady those parents, Chris & Stefania (who was pregnant at the time with Ethan), have been through so much and I'm very proud to call you my friends.

So please dig deep and sponsor me no matter how small your donation is, this is for a very worthy cause and will help families who are affected by this awful cancer.
