Story
Update: We're raising the stakes! Drew has also decided to shave off his "pirate beard" if we can raise £1,100 (rather than £550), so please contribute whatever you can because, secretly, he's longing to be able to eat a hamburger in public without requiring 10 napkins and a wetwipe. 🙏🏻
A few years ago my fiancé Drew donated his lovely long hair to the LPT, to make a real hair wig for a child who needed it more than he did. Not wanting to be outdone, nor waste the inches I'd inadvertently been growing during lockdown, I'm planning on doing the same.
The LPT's greatest need is for hair donations at least 16" in length, and in the next couple of weeks I should have enough to satisfy this and keep a chin-length bob.
Real hair wigs are given for free to their young recipients, but as it costs £550 to make one I would like to raise at least enough funds to cover this cost also. Any small amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. ❤
About the Little Princess Trust
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
