I am sure you are all aware of our story and how fast things have changed for us as a family. I am also sure that you all know I was due to run the London Marathon this weekend! 

When Nick passed away on Friday there was no way I could think about participating anymore------------ however---------I have had a very big word with myself and can hear Nick now telling me 'Go on Lis!'. 

So this Sunday will see me join 40000+ other runners ALL with a variety of story's to tell. I will run, I will walk and I will even crawl if I have to. There will be no PB, not even close to the time I dream off so I will savour every single moment of one of the best races in the world and more importantly I will have my children and some family with me.

If I can raise a few pennies for a very worthy cause then that would be the icing on the cake
