Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are raising money for the National Autistic Society (NAS) by participating with my team in a 15K Night Walk in London on Saturday 21st August. This is our way of saying thankyou!
We are grateful for the work they do to support autistic people's lives and want to join NAS to create awareness and promote acceptance.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability, and often referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It affects over 700,000 people in the UK alone. There are a lot of families that are not aware of the existence of NAS and the great extent they go to support parents and family members. It's difficult to create an awareness of autism as people with the condition do not 'look' disabled. It is often referred to as a 'hidden disability'.
With your help, the National Autistic Society (NAS) want to help improve the lives of those living with ASD and their families by:
-getting support, education and training they need
-live with dignity and as independently as possible
-feel part of their community and wider society
- being understood by professionals who support them
This charity is very close to our family's heart and we thankyou all for your support in advance and ask you to make a difference for this great cause!
So please dig deep and donate now!
Thanks again!
