Hiya!

This is me doing something crazy that I have never done before so bear with me while I get used to using this page and prepare myself for the big event! 

Where do I start? Well for the first time I am doing a Skydive and I'm doing it for a brilliant charity, the Royal Association for Deaf people!

I first joined RAD in 2015 and was lucky to take part in a fantastic project which helped the deaf community. I was involved in building up clients' skills for them to be able to achieve wonderful things, I supported them through opportunities to volunteer and find new jobs, to build their confidence in meeting new people and to learn about health topics and much much more! The project ran for 3 years and I achieved so much working with my team of staff, supporting our clients who showed so much commitment to ensure they achieved the best outcomes.

But it was really sad to see the project ending in earlier this year. Although I am involved in a different, equally rewarding project, I feel that I learnt so much in my previous role and I am so grateful to the people I have worked with that I feel I would really like to give something back to RAD as without this charity I wouldn't be where I am today.

So this is it! I have put my name down to do a Skydive in August to fundraise and would appreciate any donations, small or large! Any amount will make a difference to help RAD continue to grow and to help many more people by creating the same brilliant opportunities in the future as it has for me.
