Story

Hello

Firstly, please note that I am terrified of heights. Secondly, please note that I am particularly terrified if there is a potential fall involved (anyone who came glacier walking or skiing with me will vouch for this - I become a shivering panic stricken wreck).

However, as most of you know, WYCE is a charity very dear to my heart, and I wanted to challenge myself in order to raise some money for them. So on Saturday 26th June 2010 I will be hurling myself out of an aircraft flying at 120 mph at a height of 10,000 feet. I can't wait... no really...

For anyone who is unfamiliar with WYCE (Wonder Years Centre of Excellence), it is a charity committed to supplementing and complimenting the efforts of the Republic of The Gambia in the provision of excellent gainful educational opportunities, primary healthcare, life skills and employment facilities fot the underprivileged communities to earn a sustainable decent standard of living in The Gambia.

I have been out to help twice and the charity is carrying out remarkable work and truly making a sustainable difference to thousands of lives. If you'd like any more info or to discuss the charity further please let me know.

Cash donations are most welcome (please send me pledges (lisa.j.nice@googlemail.com) or alternatively, please donate through JustGiving. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and potentially sponsor me. Just the tiniest amount would be lovely - it all helps.
