I am running the Wimbledon Half Marathon with my amazing friend Hazel in memory of her remarkable Mum.

Elaine was a wonderful friend and teacher. She was always willing to help someone, be it children at school or accepting me setting up residence in her home every weekend when we were kids. She was always generous and supportive. I am therefore happy to be getting my trainers on to support Unicef, Elaine's charity of choice.
