Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I lived much of a normal life till December 2007 when i ended up quite ill. My mum took me to the doctors who then referred me to the hospital for tests. After bein poked proded scanned an god knows what else i was finally told i had a lump on my chest which i was told was about the size of a pingpong ball. Tests finally come back that I had Hodgkins Lymphoma which is a cancer of your glands. I was told I would have to go to london for a biopsy. When i arrived i was scanned again before being allowed the op which i was then told the lump was the size of a mans fist and it had wrapped itself around my heart. Once the biopsy was done and sent for test i came back home to brighton where i went to the hospital i was told then that i had leukemia rather than hodgkins lymphoma i asked what the treatment would be an if i would be able to have children in later life they told me they couldnt harvest my eggs as if i didnt start treatment i only had two weeks to live so i started treatment on the 10th of january 2008 my birthday an was then told that i actually had leukemia an hodgkins lymphoma so ive had to fight both. Look at me now. I have survived it - i was one of the lucky ones but being so close to the end of my life its made me realise I want to make a difference now to those also at the end of their life - this is why i've decided to support our local hospice and do this years Martlets Midnight Walk and now I'm gonna need your help. Sponsor me even if its £1 and you can also help to relieve the stress and pain of someone else at the end of their life.
