Story
On Friday 18th July 2014, I came home from work and my Dad was waiting for me to come back before heading out to see some friends. He got his stuff together, his motorbike out of the garage, and he gave me a kiss goodbye. That was the last time I ever got to see him.
At approximately 6.30pm, he was involved in a road traffic collision and he died of his injuries at the scene. The Thames Valley Air Ambulance attended, though despite this they were unable to save him. Although I lost my Dad, I will never be able to express how grateful I am that they tried.
This year marks 5 years without him. It's a struggle day in, and day out. However, instead of spending the run-up to his anniversary feeling down, I wanted to have something to look forward to, not only to honour him but to raise money for a charity I owe so much to. So in light of this I will be doing a sponsored skydive on Saturday 13th July. My Dad was an adrenaline junkie, so I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate him.
I am aiming to raise £1000, all of which will be donated to this cause as I am paying for my jump myself. Please help me support such an amazing cause by donating through this page. I will be forever in your debt 💚
