The adrenaline from my 2008 Abseil has finally worn off and im ready for my next rush, and here it is...

Imagine as I am standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in my ears with only the outline of distant fields below.

Now imagine as I lean forward out of that doorway and let go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as I start freefalling at over 120mph!

Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side and I begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering back down to the centre of the drop zone below.

Of course i will be harnessed to a professional freefall parachute instructor, im not THAT insane and believe it or not, i do value my life!!

Why am i doing this i hear you cry? Well, what wouldn't i do to help a local charity - Lewis Manning Hospice in Poole to be precise.

Who are they again? Well let me remind you... Lewis-Manning House provides a warm, supportive and caring environment for local people. Lewis-Manning Hospice in Poole, offers free specialist palliative care for over 650 local people every year living with life-threatening illnesses, such as cancer and renal failure.

The jump is on Sat 13th March from Sailabury Airfield, so fo all those who need the 'proof', come down and watch!! If not then just a donation of whatever you can spare would be greatly appreciated - i have been given the challenge of raising £400!
