Story
Dad sufferred from arthritis for most of his life, being diagnosed with RA at age 15, when doctors told him he may end up in a wheelchair. He used many methods, complimentry therapies and traditional medications to keep control of the condition over these years, but ultimately it was the arthritis and ironically, the drugs used to treat it, in the later years, that took him from us, aged a only 68!! If we can help prevent another family having to lose someone so early, through memorial donations and future fundraising, that would be amazing. Perhaps one day, with such support, the NRAS will be able to find a cure or a less invasive treatment for sufferers. In the meantime they will continue to give people with RA and their families education, information and support.
