I lost my mam to pancreatic cancer in 2019.  She was a strong supporter of the Air Ambulance (I think she probably thought one of us might need it one day).  So I would like to raise some funds on her behalf.

My mam taught me to swim when I was young and I thought this would be a good way to honour her memory.  This event was cancelled last summer and it has been tough to train up to the distance with the pools being closed all winter with only the odd swim in the north sea!!
