So many of you are aware we lost my Grandad suddenly last year and he got to spend his last day in the Hospice, it was the closest we could get him to home during the start of the pandemic. What many of you wont know is myself and my Auntie both work for the Hospice and what makes it even more special to us is that at the very beginning my Nana was a founding Volunteet for the Adult Hospice and it meant to world to her everything they do and stand for! If you are unaware of what all the Hospice does count yourself very lucky, but I have to say as a member of staff as well as having a loved one admitted to the unit the work they do is incredible! I can't even put into words what it means to me care they provide is something else!
Northern Ireland Hospice cares for over 4,000 babies, children and adults living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, both in their Adult Inpatient Unit and in the community.COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the Hospices' funding and we really need your support, now more than ever this year. All funds raised from this year's Hospice Walk will enable us to continue to provide our vital palliative care services.Thank you.
