Hey People,

As some of you maybe aware, I am attempting to complete the Great North Run this September. As I have never been blessed with any running skills I actually think this might kill me. It doesn’t help when you are informed that people have actually died doing this run!  However I am determined to complete it so I can raise lots of money for Macmillan cancer support.

I’m sure you all know of someone who has been affected by this horrendous disease. I think the statistics show that one in three of us will get cancer at some stage in our life. I think my family have just been very very unlucky when it comes to this statistic.

Macmillan's ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer. This organisation does an amazing job. Helping people who are suffering from cancer and their friends and family to try and get through each day. With out their support I don’t think my family and I would have made it through the past few months. This is something my dad always wanted me to do and what is keeping me motivated to complete the run.

If I can raise at least £400 I will feel like I have been able to give a little something back to them. So please, please please dig deep and donate now. Even if it’s just a pound any help would be greatly appreciated.
