#GivingTuesday is the national day of philanthropy to give back after all that shopping on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, & Cyber Monday. This year, it falls on December 1, and animals in need are counting on us to donate now more than ever!

Story

Second Chance Pet Adoptions, Raleigh's oldest no-kill rescue organization, has saved the lives of over 15,000 stray & abandoned cats & dogs.

December 1st is Giving Tuesday and I'm raising money for Second Chance Pet Adoptions, which many of you know is a cause near and dear to my heart. 2020 has been a crazy year for everyone and the impact it has had on us here at the rescue has been significant. The pandemic has forced us to cancel all of our in person fundraising events at a time when more animals than ever are in need: incoming community requests for help with dogs and cats who are stray, abandoned or whose owners are unable to care for them any longer have increased, while county shelters are reaching out to us daily to come pull animals, because they are almost always full. Your support can help us help them. Your contribution WILL make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every dollar counts -please help us save homeless animals this holiday season, by giving the gift of life. Thank you so much!

"At Second Chance, our mission is to champion homeless cats and dogs who are healthy or treatable in the quest to find their forever home and engage with our community to promote responsible pet ownership - ultimately reducing future generations of homeless animals."
