Story
For a bus... To the shop... To the bar at the New Inn for last orders...
These are all some of the places I have run in the past. However... I have now officially taken leave of my senses... I am running my first ever half marathon.

This is why...
The Muscular Dystrophy campaign have recently launced an appeal to specifically support their work on the second most common type of MD - Myotonic dystrophy.
Myotonic dystrophy is a genetic disorder that can affect many parts of the body. Individuals with myotonic dystrophy experience progressive muscle weakness and wastage. Symptoms may appear at any time from birth to old age and can have an impact on the muscles that control walking, speech, fine motor kills and even respiration.
This is an illness that runs in my family and I have seen the impact that it can have. By sponsoring me you will be helping to fund research and clinical trials and providing support services for people with this illness and their families.
You will also be making every painful step and subsequent blister a little more worthwhile...
It would be wonderful if you could spare a bit of money and cheer me on in what might be the most ridiculous idea I've ever had
