Story

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On October 16th, I have chosen to take part in the Great South Run taking on the challenge of running 10 miles to help raise vital funds for St. Michael's Hospice.

As many close to me will know, I lost my dad to cancer 7 years ago, and the team at St. Michaels Hospice helped enormously to make his last few days the most comfortable they could be. The help and support the hospice offer is second to none, and their team of truly caring staff make such a difference. The hospice has not only cared for my dad, but also other family members, and friends close to me, and this is why they will always have a special place in my heart.

This challenge will not come easily for me, the most I have ever run is 5k - so I would be sincerely grateful for any amount you would be willing to sponsor me, no matter how small, to help spur me on through the run! Every penny counts!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so so much everyone, and wish me luck (I'm going to need it!)
