 I'm doing the Great North run to raise money for Martin House.

Martin house provides care and support to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses and is a support for the families too.

It is a fantastic warm and welcoming home which is very close to my heart as my daughter Laura has been having respite there for the last nine years.

Laura is severely disabled, she has epilepsy and has chronic chest infections. She is fed directly into stomach by a tube.

Laura is frequently in and out of hospital, It's wonderful to have such a fantastic place to go to and to know your child is being well looked after whilst we get to recharge our batteries.

Please support me as much as you can and remember what a fantastic charity i'm raising money for.
