Ronald McDonald House in Yorkhill is an independant charity who do not get funds from the McDonalds restaurants, NHS or Yorkhill children's foundation.

They provide free accommodation for families of children who are being treated at Yorkhill children's hospital.

Daryl and I have stayed at this house twice while my son had operations for a heart condition.  It was such a relief to know that we could stay somewhere which was within walking distance of the hospital to visit Caleb at any time of the day or night.  

This house also removes the financial stress of staying away from home and allows families to be together when they really need to be.

I hope that by doing this half marathon and with your support that another family gets the benefits of this house like we did.
