We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

In late 2019 we found out my mother in law had a brain tumour. This had gone undiagnosed and had potentially been there for 18months and was now inoperable. In February 2020 Pam lost her battle leaving behind her 4 children, 6 grandchildren and lot of friends. I want to run in her memory and raise money to support the charity to find new treatments and knowledge.

Also my very own huggable superhero Logan lost his battle at just 12 years old in 2021. At aged 5 Logan was first diagnosed with a brain tumour and went through operations and treatment that no young child should have to. With his amazing family by his side Logan battled and at the time he won. Logan never failed to give me a hug whenever I saw him and this always made me smile. Unfortunately aged 12 it was back. Surrounded by his family Logan past away. I will never forget his hugs and I will carry a pocket hug with me when I run.

I was meant to complete this run in 2022 but unfortunately I got covid 19 leaving me unable to run. Luckily I was able to defer to 2023.
