Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 21st August 2010 I will be driving up to Strathclyde to take part in the Great Scottish Swim Race, where I will be swimming one mile across a very cold loch. I've been training for a couple of months, but I haven't done much outdoor swimming before so it should be an interesting day!
I will be raising money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation - a charity very close to my heart.. My Auntie was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, and she has battled hard to fight it at every step of the way. I'm so proud of her and her family, but it has been a hard time for all of them. I would love to be able to raise even a small amount of money for a charity which works hard to fight lung cancer, to help other families cope with these tough times. I will be swimming on the 21st August with my Auntie in mind, the cold water will be nothing in comparison.
If you feel that you would like to sponsor me, then please please do! Even a very small amount would be fantastic - every little helps an' all that!
Many, many thanks. Now here are the boring bits...
