Story
I really appreciate you taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and making a donation.
It all began a few foolish months ago when I thought that signing up to do my first half marathon in Singapore was a grand plan to get fit and challenge myself ... and now it is just a week or so away…eeek!
For those of you who know me more for enjoying a vino and the odd ciggie, this may not seem likely…and funnily enough this is the longest I have ever even thought about running…let alone tried (especially in the Singapore heat!) But with the help of lots of kind people who have cheered me on, I have been training pretty religiously and have run out of any other chat except how many KMs I have run and how many I need to run…it’s sad it really is.
So…please donate whatever you can afford and remember a little goes a long way. Macmillan Cancer Support helps so many good people and knowing I will be raising some money for them might help me get across that line.
All the usual formalities are below…but huge thanks and appreciation from me…
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please note, for people who are donating from outside the UK you may incur additional bank charges from making a donation. If you are donating from Singapore and would prefer to avoid this, please give the money directly to me and I will make a "bulk" donation post the race.
Thank you xx
