Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the 2020 Great North Run was not able to go ahead. My place was deferred to 2021. 

Unfortunately 2021 it was not meant to be. This time, I became that 1 in 9, diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2021.

2022 I will finally get to do the Great North Run, raising vital funds for our company's nominated charity Prevent Breast Cancer.

As the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer (women and men). Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, they believe they can stop the problem before it starts.
