5 years ago in January, we said our last goodbyes to our soldier Thomas when he was just 5 weeks old. Devastated doesn’t even come close.

While spending precious hours with him in the inspirational PICU at Bristol Children’s Hospital, we promised to raise money in his memory, to help other children and their families at an unimaginably difficult time.

Pete, and the original Trek For Thomas team started his legacy in 2014 but it’s time now to mark this painful five year milestone.

My wonderful sister, Gemma and brother in law, Stuart started their ‘Couch to 5k’ journey around Christmas time, and are doing incredibly to reach the Bristol 10k in May! I wouldn’t consider myself a natural runner by any means, it’s hard work but it doesn’t come close to the strength that Thomas showed in his 5 short weeks.
