I'm going to complete 55 Miles in October (walk, run, paddle)because I'm passionate about funding Alzheimer's Research UK's vital research.

My mum is living with dementia and it is heartbreaking  for the whole family. My parents now live with me Dad is 85 and Mum is 83 (we are lucky to have been able to create an annex - although the house boundaries are very blurred- dementia doesn’t allow for that) support for people and families who are affected by this disease really is not fit for purpose. I changed my job to work part time, as I have chosen to ‘try’ to manage the situation the best I can for as long as it is possible.
