Dashs operation costs (fractured radius and ulna) · 12 September 2018

Greyhound Gap is a registered charity that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes death row Greyhounds and Lurchers who find themselves in a PTS situation in UK pounds.

Story

With the coursing season it seems well under way Dash is a young male lurcher  around 12 months old and the first dog of the season to land in our care with a seriously broken limb. Dash has both a radius and ulna fracture. Dash is currently safely installed into the care of Duncan Gibson at Rutland House referalls and will be undergoing surgery today at a cost to us as a charity of £3500.

Once discharged Dash will join us at the kennels house here at Greyhound Gap to undergo his crate rest and safe recovery before we seek to find him a new home.
