Climbing Out Four Peak Challenge · 9 October 2021

A guided hike in the mountains of Snowdonia to raise funds for Climbing Out.

Story

One of my best friends, Julie Sephton, suffered a brain haemorrhage in early 2019 and has struggled to get her life back on track.  Thanks to Climbing Out, Julie recently undertook a 5 day programme in the Peak District which has given her a new lease of life and a focus to have ambitions and to simply carry on. In October, Julie and I together with 8 others are heading to North Wales to join Climbing Out’s Four Peak Challenge, a one day fund-raising hike in Snowdonia.

Please help me to support this fantastic charity and raise funds for Climbing Out and other people like Julie who have suffered and are now beginning to rebuild their life.

For over 10 years Climbing Out has been building the confidence and self-esteem of individuals overcoming life changing illness, injury or trauma. The events of 2020 put a stop to our fundraising hike, but not to our work and we have continued to reach out to individuals from diverse backgrounds, throwing them a rope and helping them to climb out of the challenges that life has sent them.In 2021 our fundraising hike is back! Located in the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia and split into hikes of three levels so there is something for everyone. We hope you will support our hikers as they take up the challenge to raise funds for our life changing charity.
