Christmas Jumper Day 2022 at Genus ABS - for St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice

I hope many of my Genus ABS work colleagues can support me in our office fundraiser for St Lukes which we are holding on Tuesday 6th December. We're asking you to wear your Christmas jumper and make a small donation to the Hospice (say £2.00).
I wanted to hold it this week as it will be almost a year to the day since my dad passed away at the hospice last Christmas and the week will be a really tough one for me. I'm hoping that doing something positive in helping to raise funds for the amazing care and support the Hospice gives to patients and their families, with both respite and end of life care, will give me the motivation to get me through, and at the same time remembering my wonderful dad.
I really appreciate your support

For almost 35 years, St Luke's Hospice has provided vital care and support to local people with life-limiting conditions and their families. The care reaches right across the area, largely through the 'Hospice at Home' service, which sees St Luke's nursing teams providing palliative care to patients wishing to stay in their own homes. The night-sitting service gives relatives the reassurance that their loved ones are being looked after in the best possible way. St Luke's provides these service 24/7, 365 days a year, totally free of charge. They receive just 15% funding from the Government, which means they have to rely on the kindness of local people, groups and businesses to help raise the rest.By taking part in Christmas Jumper Day and making a donation, you are helping St Luke's provide care for more local people, both now and in the future.Thank you for your support and best wishes for a peaceful Christmas and a joyful New Year x
