Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

We support deaf children and their families to make their future brighter.

Story

This photo was taken at the finishing line of the Paris Marathon in 2011. Having completed the course in just under 5 hours Linus and Alison were sure their marathon running days were over. Happily the charms of Tower Bridge, the Isle of Dogs and Big Ben have lured them out of retirmement and we will be running in London on 21st April. Once again we're running for NDCS, a charity which will always be close to our hearts; it aims to remove the barriers facing deaf children all over the world. Toto is now 18 and reading Classics at Oxford; with the help of NDCS she has safely negotiated many barriers. Over the years we have raised £13,000 by plodding around the streets of London and Paris; we really hope you will want to help us to add to this total. Every penny makes a difference; the apparently endless miles along the Embankment are manageable when we know that every step counts!
