We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Alzheimer's disease is most common in people over the age of 65. The risk of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia increases with age, affecting an estimated 1 in 14 people over the age of 65 and 1 in every 6 people over the age of 80. But around 1 in every 20 cases of Alzheimer's disease affects people aged 40 to 65. This is called early- or young-onset Alzheimer's disease.

Alxheimer's is a charity close to the hearts of the participants as it has, or is affecting relatives of those taking part and will continue to do so unless drastic action is taken to combat this disease.

As such, employees of Lindum Group have decided to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge on 31/08/2019 to raise money for the cause. The challenge involves conquering Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in a gruelling 24 hours.

The participants are as followed; Thomas Jackson, Lee Winter, Sean Horstwood, Rob Fox, Ollie Meakin, Leif Davy, Jason Shackleton, Mark Hall, Ryan Calvert & Rob Newman

We would greatly appreciate any donation, big or small, to help us reach our target. Not only will this significantly help the charity, it will give us the motivation required to conquer this difficult challenge.
