Me and my team leader Trish are going to take part in race for life at Heaton Park on Sat 12th July at 11:00am. The reason we are doing this is because we have both been hurt by this horrid disease. In August 2012 my nan got diagnosed with lung cancer and 3 weeks later died 5 days before she was due to get married.  Trish herself battled the disease last year and through her strength and determination has since been given the all clear. Cancer will touch all of us at some point in our life and I think it is a worthy cause to raise money for. Thanks for visiting my Race for Life page.
