Story

My youngest son is just 15 months old and has needed monthly blood transfusions since he was 6 weeks old , he has diamond Blackfan anaemia an extremely rare condition where the bonemarrow produces little or no blood cells , we are currently trialling steroids in the hope they can replace the need for transfusions , my self and my other 2 children have the same condition but presents in a much milder form as it has in Benjamin.

The only cure is a bone marrow transplant and I decided to hold an Avent to encourage people to join the Anthony Nolan registry should we need to find a match for Benjamin as well as encouraging people to give blood .

My self and my team of groomers will be bathing and drying dogs for donations and we will have refreshments to get people in the festive mood on Sunday 7th December at A Groom WIth A View , wood bank , oldwood south , skellingthorpe , ln6 5ua , please donate online if possible and bring your pooches for a pampering ,all money raised will go to DBA Uk which help families and fund  much needed research .
