Please consider donating to the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center’s 29th Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence.
The most dangerous place for many people experiencing domestic violence is right in their own home. The stay-at-home orders, intended to protect the public and prevent widespread infection, has left many people trapped with their abusers, and survivors need your support more than ever.
This year's walk will be held virtually, with the kickoff event happening this Sunday! We are encouraging everyone to walk our Newburyport route or create another route that is meaningful to you in your community, in a safe, socially distanced manner anytime during October 4th- October 18th, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center continues to provide virtual support, including advocacy, counseling, legal assistance and support groups during this time. Our 24/7 confidential hotline is available at (978) 388-1888 or email gethelp@jeannegeiger.org
