Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is for my lovely friend Nicola King, who left this earth far too early. However, she left an impact.  A beautiful, bubbly, vivavicious human being who was inspiring to many.  We met in Rhodes, when we were young, wrinkle free and the only running we did was to the next bar....  I only started running in August and the half marathon represents a huge challenge for me.  However, thinking of Nicola and her courage and struggle, has encouraged me to train and am sure will get me over the finish line.  My husband Thierry, is running the full marathon, so between my 21km and his 42 km, we are running 63km in total in loving memory of Nicola King.

Update:  We did it!!  Me, in 2 hours 10 minutes for the half marathon and Thierry in 2 hours 55 minutes!  Nicola got me over the line and am so pleased that our efforts have contributed towards the hospice.  Any donations are still gratefully received.  Thank you so very very much xxx
