Mum was a wonderful human being who made a difference to so many lives, as a teacher, friend and most of all to her children and grandchildren. She passed away suddenly on 25.3.23. We will all miss her enormously. To remember her, go for a walk on a fell, by the sea or through some woodlands, or listen to some Handel or the radio 4 early music show, and snuggle down with a good book. if you would like to make a donation in her memory, we are suggesting booktrust. 

Mum loved books and reading and was fascinated by how children learn to read - having helped so many as a reception teacher and we are carrying this on in her memory.
