Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page

We are doing a bike ride through Vietnam and Cambodia to raise money for Women v Cancer. This supports three cancer charities, Breast Cancer Now, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.

Message from Lindsay:
In March 2009, just before my birthday, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

I remember asking the universe or God or whoever might be out there listening (Granny I am thinking of you!) to let me have at least 10 more years to get my children through the teenage years and hopefully see them settled and happy.

Well someone was listening because I’m still here!!

I saw this challenge taking place in November/December 2024 and realised I could celebrate 15 years since my treatment ended in December 2009 whilst raising money for charities that help so many women with a cancer diagnosis. Cheryl is joining me on this adventure to celebrate 15 years cancer free and to help raise as much money as we can.

Any donations will be hugely appreciated.
