UPDATE!!  With the event unable to take place at the stadium as originally planned due to the current circumstances we have now been asked to complete from home and have been given between 22nd and 28th June to do this. 

We have therefore decided to push ourselves further and do 5km each day that the at home event takes place.

My daughter, Kaitlyn and I are taking part in our first charity event together and have signed up to take part in the Blue all Over 5k fun run (jog/walk) in aid of the Rangers Charity Foundation. As season ticket holders we hear a lot about the amazing work The Rangers Charity Foundation do to help so many people and decided we wanted to do something to assist with the projects they carry out and have fun at the same time.

The Rangers Charity Foundation work closely with a group of charities each year funding projects that have a lasting and significant impact on the local community and beyond. This year the foundation is working closely with the following charities:

* UNICEF the worlds leading children's charity

* Children 1st, Scotland's national children's charity

* Glasgow City Mission, community partnership assisting the homeless

* Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity

* Armed Forces Fund, supporting a number of armed forces and veteran's charities

As well as working with the above charities their community programme also reaches thousands of children and adults with important messages and training regarding health and fitness, employment, equality, diversity and education.

By donating through justgiving your donations go straight to the charity, any donation received will be greatly appreciated whether big or small. We have a joint target of £200 that we hope you will be able to help us achieve. 

We are looking forward to a lovely mother/daughter bonding day whilst taking part in the run and hopefully raising plenty of money for the charity foundation at the same time.
