Story
My name is Nic, and I have Multiple Sclerosis. I'm very fortunate in that currently I only have mild symptoms of the disease, and I'm still able to work, study and follow my favourite hobbies - well, with a bit of organisation and setting realistic goals!
The MS Trust have been very helpful to me, giving me all the information I need to help me manage my condition and to understand more about my diagnosis. They have also given me the resources I've needed to talk to my family, friends and work colleagues about the impact MS has on my life.
I wanted to give something back to the Trust, and I wondered what to do. I needed to be able to incorporate anything I organised into my lifestyle - and then it struck me. I design cross stitch charts as a hobby, and share them on my blog. So I thought, why not ask people to make a small donation if they feel so inclined?
If you haven't come here via my blog, then why not visit it here - new charts are uploaded about mid-month!
How your money helps:
- £2 could cover the cost of producing and sending out the Young Person's Guide to MS to a teenager who has a parent with MS (and we all know how scary being a teenager can be without the added worry of a parent who is unwell)
- £3 could cover the cost of producing and sending the Trust's most popular publication Exercises for People with MS (and very good it is too!)
- £10 could cover the cost of providing an individually tailored information pack and a personal response from the Trust's Information Team to someone who has just been diagnosed with MS (which is great to get at a pretty uncertain time)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! And if you've received one of my charts - Happy Stitching!
